With 17 years of experience in direct response fundraising programs, Jerry L. Warren has worked extensively to develop and execute creative fundraising strategies for international non-profit organizations.  He spent most of his time designing campaigns and advocating for strong message integration across all communication channels which includes print media, radio, and web-technology.

While working at Habitat for Humanity International, Jerry served as Associate Director for Special Development.  He created a high-end donor program specifically designed for donors who had the propensity of giving $5,000 to $100,000 annually.

As Manager of Field Service at CARE USA, a global poverty fighting organization, Jerry managed a direct mail program for major giving donors and worked with major gift fundraisers, planned giving offers, and advocacy team members on donor cultivation strategies and tactics.  In fiscal year 2006, his efforts generated over $1.7 million dollars in unrestricted funds.

Prior to joining CARE USA, he worked for nine years in the American Red Cross – Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter, an international relief organization.  During his tenure at Red Cross, he worked in several departments – Volunteer Department, Senior Management Area, and Financial Development.

As a small business owner Jerry continues to provide strategic consulting and creative direction for small-businesses or smaller nonprofit organizations.  He helped write a business plan for Mother Hubbard’s Day Care and Kindergarten Center.  The day care center needed this plan to secure a $2.1 million construction loan.  The loan was approved and the projected date for completion of their new facility is slated for the spring of 2012.  In December of 2011, Jerry received a prestigious award from the Northwest Business Association of Atlanta – a 20 year old organization comprised of 40 local area businesses.  His consulting business was named “Small Business of the Year!”

Locally, Jerry serves on the advisory board for a grass-roots organization called “Community-wide Coalition of Northwest Atlanta.”  This organization’s mission is to improve the living conditions of citizens in the northwest quadrant of the city of Atlanta.  Since his involvement, he has raised over $25K in two years.

Jerry devotes his personal time by spending it with a teenage mentee – Otis Ponder.  As a Big Brother/Big Sister volunteer, he mentors an inner city child with hopes to improve his self-esteem and instill positive values.

Most importantly, Jerry is a devout Christian and attends Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral in Austell, Georgia.  He has participated in overseas mission work through Mission Possible International.  His travels led him to places such as Jamaica, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Haiti, Kenya and South Africa, China, Alaska, and New Orleans.  In 2015, Jerry led three success mission trips (Kenya, Jamaica, and Haiti).  In 2016, LifeWalk Mission International has expanded its short-term mission travels to "FIVE" destinations - including Dothan, Alabama and Chennai, India!
